Public Comment Sessions
The initial public comment period runs from May 20 through June 30, 2026. LIPA and PSEG Long Island will host both in-person and virtual public comment sessions before the close of the comment period. Specific dates will be added as they are finalized.

What to expect at a public comment session
Each session will include a brief overview of the 2027 IRP process and an opportunity for members of the public to share comments directly with the IRP team.
You do not need to attend a session to be heard. Written comments submitted through the online form or by email to IRP@lipower.org receive equal consideration.
